Newthorpe Quarry User-Worked Crossing Upgrade

November 20, 2020

As their name suggests, user worked crossings are manually operated and found where railways cross a footpath, bridleway, or right of way on private land. This before/after shows a crossing at Newthorpe Quarry in North Yorkshire which was upgraded with one of our Interlocking RRAP modular crossing systems.

The Interlocking RRAP is designed to be installed quickly and easily, independent of sleeper spacing, to reduce track possession times while delivering significant cost savings. It is sustainably manufactured in the UK from recycled tyre rubber.
